Shark Database update to Red List data v. 2022-1
The latest update of the IUCN Red List has been integrated into the Shark Database. It contains 537 shark species.
Compared to version 2021-2, there were no major changes. The update contains 1 possibly extinct species, 217 endangered species of sharks and for 72 species there is insufficient data (Data Deficient) available for an assessment.
